Pantry Swing Door And Matching Plaque

Pantry Swing Door And Matching Plaque

Hi Friends and Happy Friday! Here is a super fun refinish and custom build that we recently completed for our awesome clients, the Stein family! They are building a fabulous new home, and had a really COOL IDEA for their pantry door. They wanted a paneled, and paned swing door with a matching scrollwork plaque to hang above. And as for the finish, they wanted everything to match the gray theme that they have throughout their home, but with a really cool aged/distressed feel. The only problem was…. THEY NEEDED TO FIND A DOOR! Continue reading

Custom Wall Plaque With Magnolia Wreath

Custom Wall Plaque With Magnolia Wreath

Hi Friends! Check out this lovely picture that we recently received in from the York family! We built them this dining room table at the end of last year, and they contacted us a few months ago wanting a custom plaque to fill the large open space on their dining room wall.

So, they sent us a sketch, measurements, color theme, and finish that they wanted to go with, and we took it from there! And once they got it hung, they added this beautiful magnlia wreath to finish it off!

Thanks again, Ashlee and Justin! Everything looks BEAUTIFUL!

Sweet Words From One Of Our Amazing Clients

Sweet Words From One Of Our Amazing Clients

We are absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the sweetest post we were just tagged in from one of our AMAZING clients. Words cannot express how touched and humbled Patrick and I are for your kind words, Angele. Thanks again!

“So we took an old door from a 125+ year old house on Sam’s property in MS. We brought it to the amazing Chelette’s Decor and More, and they created a beautiful coffee table for us…but what was more sentimental was the mini door they made with the remaining boards from the door and thread spool that was used as a knob on the original door. We just hung it today and will add the picture frame once I find the perfect picture to place in it.

If you want a one of a kind piece in your home… they are the ones to create it. Jessaca and Patrick have a special gift and talent that make them unique. I can’t wait to get our handmade kitchen table and other furniture from them in the future!!! Check them our on Facebook…I promise you will get hooked!!!”

Here Is Our Finished Up-Cycled Antique Door Into A Coffee Table

Here Is Our Finished Up-Cycled Antique Door Into A Coffee Table

Hi Friends! Here is our FINISHED Up-cycled coffee table! Our client initially wanted the coffee table to be painted and with a distressed finish. This was partially due to the fact that they wanted to add a little COLOR to their living room, and also partially because we all honestly thought that the boards were going to be a bit DAMAGED since the door had been sitting in an old home for quite some time.

But once we took the door apart, and saw that it was actually old, TONGUE and GROOVE PINE FLOOR BOARDS, we had an IDEA! We sent the boards through the planer, and sanded and cleaned them up. Then WE COULD NOT BELIEVE OUR EYES! These boards were STUNNING! So…CHANGE OF PLANS! STAINING it was! Our client agreed that we simply could not cover up all of this BEAUTIFUL wood with paint!Continue reading

The Lee Family’s Barstools Are Complete!

Hi Friends! We have the Lee family’s barstool set completed! As we told y’all, we were building them to match the Vintage Farmhouse Dining Table and Bench set that we built for them a few months back. EXCEPT, we adding a fun little TWIST! They wanted us to paint and distress the frame work with a GORGEOUS TEAL! AND WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! This way, the barstools still match the table and bench set, yet they aren’t so MATCHY, MATCHY! Y’all know what we mean? 😉

DIY Coffee Plaque

DIY Coffee Plaque

Hi Friends, and Happy Monday! We have a GREAT new DIY project for you to start out your week! What do you do when you have a broken rake? Make a plaque out of it, OF COURSE! We recently broke our rake, and instead of throwing it away…we decided to Up-Cycle it! My grandparents are Up-Cyclers too (where did y’all think we learned it?). And since Father’s Day was right around the corner, we decided to make a gift out of it for our sweet Paw Paw!

We have seen rakes used as wine glass holders, and key holders too, but my Paw Paw LOVES COFFEE! So, we decided to use it as a mug holder. He is actually the reason why I love coffee so much. He used to give me “coffee milk” when  I was little, and I have been hooked ever since. 😉Continue reading
