Deal Of The Day: $8.50 Kreg Jig Toolbox

Hi Friends! Check out our most recent “Deal Of The Day”! We were able to find these large Kreg Jig Toolboxes at Lowe’s for $8.50 each! And they came with 1,000+ screws in various sizes! WOW! We are still in shock about this one since we COULD NOT even purchase the screws alone for $8.50! Continue reading

The Lee Family’s Barstools Are Complete!

The Lee Family’s Barstools Are Complete!

Hi Friends! We have the Lee family’s barstool set completed! As we told y’all, we were building them to match the Vintage Farmhouse Dining Table and Bench set that we built for them a few months back. EXCEPT, we adding a fun little TWIST! They wanted us to paint and distress the frame work with a GORGEOUS TEAL! AND WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! This way, the barstools still match the table and bench set, yet they aren’t so MATCHY, MATCHY! Y’all know what we mean? 😉

DIY Coffee Plaque

DIY Coffee Plaque

Hi Friends, and Happy Monday! We have a GREAT new DIY project for you to start out your week! What do you do when you have a broken rake? Make a plaque out of it, OF COURSE! We recently broke our rake, and instead of throwing it away…we decided to Up-Cycle it! My grandparents are Up-Cyclers too (where did y’all think we learned it?). And since Father’s Day was right around the corner, we decided to make a gift out of it for our sweet Paw Paw!

We have seen rakes used as wine glass holders, and key holders too, but my Paw Paw LOVES COFFEE! So, we decided to use it as a mug holder. He is actually the reason why I love coffee so much. He used to give me “coffee milk” when  I was little, and I have been hooked ever since. 😉Continue reading

In Pursuit Of Teal

In Pursuit Of Teal

Happy Saturday, Friends! Y’all should have known that we COULDN’T STAY AWAY from the paint section at Lowe’s! We went back yesterday to pick up some materials for 2 DIY projects that we are working on for y’all. And since they are still running a BOGO sale for their sample sized Sherwin Williams‘ paints, we decided to pick out a few more colors. (It was the 3rd time that we got paint there last week! HAHA!) NEW ORDER: Entry Console Cabinet

NEW ORDER: Entry Console Cabinet

Hi Friends! While our sealant is currently drying on our media cabinet, we have begun work on a new order! We are still in the beginning stages, but have made some MAJOR HEADWAY in a very short period of time! This is going to be a BEAUTIFUL Entry Console Cabinet. We are EXCITED about this particular order because we have working with this sweet family before, and we look forward to working together with them again on this project! Plus, this piece is not going to just fill SPACE in their home…it is going to also fill a NEED. It is replacing our clients’ current entry table because it has proven to be UNSAFE for their young son. It is top heavy, so when he attempts to pull up on it, he could easily pull it over on top of himself, along with all of the pictures and decor currently sitting on top. By SWITCHING it out with this NEW entry console table, it not only offers more space to hold items (since it will have drawers, and a shelf underneath), but also gives them peace of mind regarding their son’s safety.

Our Paint Finds Of The Day!

Our Paint Finds Of The Day!

Here is our PAINT FIND OF THE DAY! We just purchased all of this paint for $10.00! Right now at Lowe’s, they are running a SPECIAL on their paint! WHOO HOO! This week only, their Sherwin WIlliams’ paint samples are BOGO (BUY ONE GET ONE FREE)! And as you can see in the top picture above, there is A LOT OF PAINT in their sample size! This is actually the largest sized paint samples that we have ever come across in ANY paint brand! (AND ALL THE PAINTERS SAID AMEN!) And they are only $4.98 each! SO, we have enough paint for several small projects, or 2 medium sized projects for under $5.00! You can’t beat that friends! And for all of you who would like to know the the names of the colors that we purchased, they are “Sugar Snap Pea” and “Red Tanager.” I think that they will be going on our boys’ school desks for this upcoming school year. Now we just need to find a pretty pink and lovely lavender for our girls, and we will be set!

And as for the paint color in the large can pictured on the bottom, it was a MISTINT! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE mistints! We purchase and use them ALL OF THE TIME. At our local Lowe’s, they mark down mistints to $5.00 per gallon (Typically). We have found some of the most AMAZING COLORS on that rack. And since they are so cheap, you can take a little risk by purchasing colors that you would not typically purchase at regular price. And guess what….If you don’t like it, you are only out $5 bucks! But as for the color that we purchased today…. I believe God had it there ESPECIALLY FOR US, just awaiting our arrival! Why, you ask!?!? Because it is called Cream In My Coffee!” YEP, IT WAS A SIGN FROM ABOVE! 😉
