It’s a Louisiana Saturday Night over here, Y’all! And tonight we are cooking some Eggplant Parmesan (MY FAV!) with some fresh eggplants just picked from the garden!

They will go well with the 500 lbs of pasta I accidentally cooked earlier. HEHE! 😉

Am I the ONLY one who does this? I always cook enough pasta to feed approximately 125 people and I DON’T KNOW WHY! Maybe it’s just my Italian roots coming to the surface. 🙂

Yep! And we still do! We are so BLESSED to still have our grandparents with us, HAPPY and HEALTHY! Now our kiddos get to enjoy shelling peas with them too!

And we LOVE fresh peas. I eat them right out of the pod. 🙂

“PEPPER SIGHTING” PEPPER SEASON IS UPON US!

Hi Friends! Look what we just ran across as we were walking past the garden on the way to visit our grandparents! PEPPERS! For those of you who have been following our Facebook page for a while now, know that we LOVE peppers! We always look forward to pepper season because we have tons of recipes that we use peppers in. One of which is our FAMOUS PEPPER JELLY! YUM!
