Our Crockpot Ribs Were a SUCCESS… Plus Our Other Crockpot Recipes On The Menu For Today!

Hi Friends! It is a good thing that we decided in advance to cook our 4th of July feast indoors this year, because it is once again STORMING OUTSIDE! We told y’all yesterday that we were making a new recipe called CROCKPOT RIBS. But what we didn’t tell y’all was that we were also making 2 other crockpot recipes for today as well. One is called CROCKPOT LOADED BAKED POTATOES and the other is CROCKPOT S’MORES DIP! Since their cook times are much shorter, we decided to wait until today to start cooking them.

We also told y’all that we would report back on how our Crockpot ribs came out.. And we are happy to let all of you know that they were LICK YA FINGERS, SLAP YA MAMMA AWESOME! HAHA! SERIOUSLY, they were tender, juicy, flavorful, and FALLING OFF OF THE BONE! And not to mention, they were so EASY to make and prepare! Once they were fully cooked, we transferred them to our oven to set the glaze. We broiled them on high for 5 minutes and added a mixture of  drippings from the crockpot, barbecue sauce, and honey to the tops. THEY TURNED OUT PERFECT! So, that recipe is DEFINITELY A KEEPER! We loved them so much, that we may never cook ribs on the grill again!

Even our beagle, Gingerbread, APPROVED! She was CHOMPING AT THE BITS to get a bone!

RECIPES:

CROCKPOT RIBS HERE

CROCKPOT LOADED BAKED POTATOES:

INGREDIENTS:
5 lbs potatoes (any kind will work)
6 slices bacon or bacon crumbles
2 cups cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS:
-Cut up potatoes and place is crockpot along with cheese and bacon.
*If you chose to use bacon: cook and cut up before adding to crockpot.*
-Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 8 hours.
-Once potatoes are fully cooked, serve with sour cream, bacon crumbles, shredded cheese, and chives on top.. AND SERVE!

CROCKPOT S’MORES DIP:
INGREDIENTS:

15 ounces milk chocolate, chopped or milk chocolate chips

1  package of mini marshmallows

Graham crackers

DIRECTIONS:

-Place chocolate in bottom of crockpot

-Add marshmallows to top

Cook on low until ingredients have melted. Ours took approximately 1 hour.

Then scoop with graham crackers and ENJOY!
