DIY Hall Tree

DIY Hall Tree

Happy Friday, Friends! Here is our DIY project of the week! A few days ago, we posted a picture of an old door and some scrap pieces of lumber, but didn’t tell y’all what we were planning on doing with all of it. Well, here it is! We turned it into GORGEOUS hall tree for our mudroom!

When we recently did our remodel, we also closed in our back porch and have converted it into a mudroom for our kiddos. So, we needed a hall tree OF COURSE! We can now store all of their shoes, swimsuits, and hang towels in one EASY and CONVENIENT location! And not to mention, without ever needed to step into our home tracking mud and water everywhere! This is ORGANIZATION at its BEST! It is a WIN/WIN!

So, how did we come up with our design? We went through our scrap wood pile, and pulled out a bunch of lumber. We also pulled out this BEAUTIFUL OLD DOOR from our shed that we removed from an old home last year. It is around 80-90 years old! Then we threw it all together, added some paint, stain, glaze, and sealant.

And this is our NEW MASTERPIECE!
