Five Things You Should Know About This Picture Collage “Pizza Night!”

Five Things You Should Know About This Picture Collage “Pizza Night!”

1. Last night was PIZZA NIGHT in the Chelette household! And we ALL had a BLAST! Our kiddos love helping us cook in the kitchen! And they especially love making their own meals. It gives them such a sense of accomplishment. And they are also able to learn some wonderful life skills! So, we took out all of the ingredients, placed them on the counter, and let the kids go to town! No holds barred!

2. We enjoy making our own personal size pizzas for several reasons. For starters, they are a filling, inexpensive meal for our family. They only consist of a few ingredients. Also, the  packs that we purchase are Mamma Mary’s, which have 3 small crusts in each. So, if we purchase 2 packs, we have the perfect amount for our family of 6! Each person also has the opportunity to be creative, and to make the exact type of pizza that they want.Continue reading

“Christmas Cheer In May” What’s In Your Mug/Five Things You Should Know About This Picture

Happy Sunday Morning, Friends! This morning we are switching things up a bit! I decided to combine 2 of our favorite types of posts into one! Because, there was really no way that I could not tell y’all the behind the scenes of what transpired this morning. So, sit back with a cup of coffee, and enjoy the next few minutes of hilarity that this post will add to your day….

1. This is an over-sized (Can hold at least 4 cups of coffee at a time! AMEN!) Christmas mug that we purchased after Christmas last year at Walmart. I love shopping after season for items simply because this is when they all go on sale, and can be found at hugely reduced prices. This mug must have somehow escaped the after Christmas crowd, and was pushed behind a few plants in the garden center. When we got to the register, it rang up at a whopping…. $0.48! My inner frugal mamma was so happy, I almost kissed the cashier! Continue reading

And this just so happens to be the place where we sat down and stopped long enough to take a picture. Now, taking a break is quite rare for us. Between our kiddos, housework, errands, and running our business; we are typically going 90 to nothing ALL DAY until we climb into bed at night. But we have to tell y’all….this was a much needed break. Even if it was only for a few minutes. Continue reading

We had been watching this nest that a cardinal family had made in one of our tulip trees. They had laid 3 little adorable eggs in it. And guess what!?!? They hatched on MOTHER’S DAY! How PERFECT?!?! We were so thrilled to see that they all made it safely into the world.

2.) We regularly checked on their progress everyday, and in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS, this is what we surprisingly found…..Continue reading
